Before the peer review process begins for submissions to the 'International Journal of Current Research in Physiology and Pharmacology', a critical step is taken to ensure the originality and integrity of the work: plagiarism checking. Here's how this process works:

Initial Plagiarism Screening: Once a manuscript is submitted, it is first screened using plagiarism detection software. This software compares the submitted content against a vast database of published works to identify any potential instances of plagiarism.

Handling Detected Plagiarism:
- 5% to 30% Plagiarism: If the software detects that between 5% and 30% of the manuscript's content matches existing sources, the manuscript is returned to the author(s) for correction. The author(s) are expected to revise the manuscript to address the plagiarism issues.
- More than 30% Plagiarism: In cases where plagiarism is detected in more than 30% of the manuscript, it is outright rejected. The authors are then advised to thoroughly revise their manuscript to significantly reduce the plagiarized content before considering resubmission.

Adherence to COPE Guidelines: The journal follows the guidelines set out by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
